Electro-optic turret (EOT) is based on the gyro-stabilized platform, integrated with the infrared camera, visual camera and laser range finder. By applying the technology of gyro stabilization, EOT can isolate the angular motion of carrier, and keep the optical axis angular motion stability in inertial space.
EOT-16S is a mature product of our company, which can be carried on ship and vehicle.EOT-16S is widely used in search and rescue, anti-smuggling, security monitoring, environment monitoring and forest fire prevention, and also can be used in reconnaissance, surveillance and other areas of defense.
Compared with similar products at home and abroad, EOT-16S has the following characteristics:
• By using the high precision fiber optic gyroscope and optimizing temperature compensation algorithm, EOT-16S is good at the gyroscopic drift and the light of sight stabilization.
• By using the generalized and standardization design principles, the cost is low.

EOT-16S has the following functions:
• EOT-16S can supply the infrared and visual video, the infrared camera and visual camera can be operated and set.
• EOT-16S can measure the target distance by laser range finder.
• EOT-16S can keep the optical axis angular motion stability on moving carrier.
• The angular motion of the optical axis can be manual operation; EOT-16S can also lock the target and track the target automatically.
• EOT-16S can scan the selected sector automatically, the interval of the sector and the scanning rate can be set.
• EOT-16S can receive the angular position, and rotate to the demanded position.
• EOT-16S can stow at a certain angular position (the azimuth angle is locked at 0°and the elevation angle is locked at +90°) rapidly and maintain this position as long as it is under power.
• EOT-16S can return to the “home” position (both the azimuth angle and the elevation angle are locked at 0°) rapidly and maintain this position as long as it is under power.
• EOT-16S can output the data of ranging, the data of optical axis angular position and the data of EOT operating state.
